Vector Contact Icon Pack

This set of vector contact icons was designed for the FOCAL (Free and Open-source Creative Art Library) project during the FOSSEE Summer Fellowship 2020.

The Objective

To create a comprehensive, scalable icon pack for common contact methods (phone, email, location, web) using Inkscape.

• Download Icons: You can download the vector source files from the FOCAL Library.
• Tool Used: Inkscape (v0.92.4).

The Design Style

The icons feature a "Long Shadow" design, a popular trend in flat design that adds depth and dimension to 2D elements.

• Vector Precision: Built entirely with vector paths for crisp scaling at any resolution.
• Consistent Theme: Uniform color palette (warm gradients) and shadow angles for visual cohesion.
• Versatility: multiple variations (solid fill, outline, different background shapes) included for different use cases.

The Tutorial

I created a tutorial demonstrating the technique for creating long shadows in Inkscape and how to design these icons.
