Twitch Branding Kit

This branding kit for Twitch was designed for the FOCAL (Free and Open-source Creative Art Library) project during the FOSSEE Summer Fellowship 2020.

The Objective

To create a unified, professional streaming channel identity using Inkscape, addressing the specific resolution requirements of various Twitch layout elements.

• Tool Used: Inkscape (v0.92.4).

The Design

The design uses a fluid, abstract wave theme ("Liquid Gradient") to create a dynamic look suitable for gaming or creative streaming channels.

• Profile Banner: (1200x480px) Designed to scale gracefully across different monitor sizes, keeping the key info (social handles) centered.
• Video Player Banner: (1920x1080px) A "Stream Offline" screen that matches the brand identity, giving the channel a polished look even when offline.
• Vector Consistency: Using shared gradient definitions and stylistic elements ensures a cohesive brand image across all assets.

I created a tutorial covering the setup of artboards for multiple platforms and exporting assets correctly from Inkscape.
